My city Hospital required qualified and experienced Resident Medical Doctor (R.M.O.) for Alternate Night shift.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Expected hours: 12.5 hours per day

Job Title: Resident Medical Doctor (R.M.O) - Alternate Night

Reports To: [Head of Department, Medical Director]

Job Summary:

This position is for a Resident Medical Doctor (R.M.O.) for alternate night shift to provide high-quality emergency medical services to patients within a specified department. The incumbent will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Patient Care:

* Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations.

* Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions within their area of expertise.

* Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, including medication prescriptions, referrals to specialists, and lifestyle modifications.

* Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence.

* Manage acute and chronic illnesses effectively.

* Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

2) Clinical Operations:

* Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

* Adhere to all relevant clinical protocols and guidelines.

* Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

* Assist in the training and supervision of junior medical staff (if applicable).

3) Professional Development:

* Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills through continuing medical education (CME) activities.

* Stay abreast of the latest medical advancements and best practices.

Qualifications:

* Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university or HEC.

* Licensure/Certification: Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

* Experience: Fresh or 01 year of experience in emergency settings.

Skills:

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-centered care skills.

* Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
