Job Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales, developing and maintaining customer relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, and representing the company’s products and brand in the market. The role requires strong communication skills, market knowledge, and a result-oriented mindset.
2. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets assigned by management
Identify new customers, outlets, and business opportunities
Promote company products and ensure proper product placement
Execute sales plans and promotional activities in the assigned territory
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-ups professionally
Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
Order Management & Reporting
Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery coordination
Maintain daily sales records and submit reports to management
Monitor outstanding payments and support recovery as per policy
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
Share market feedback and improvement suggestions with management
3. Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with accounts, dispatch, and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and discount structures
Follow ethical sales practices and company SOPs
4. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum qualification: Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in sales (FMCG / Retail / Corporate sales preferred)
Fresh candidates with strong communication skills may also be considered
5. Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Target-driven and self-motivated
Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Sales Reporting
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Willingness to travel within assigned areas
