Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement day-to-day operations and administrative activities in a multi-tier, 24/7 production environment for the complete SAP landscape. This includes SAP S/4 HANA, PI/PO, BTP, BW, SAC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Cloud Connector, SAP Router, Web Dispatcher, SAP SSO, Time Trax, Solution Manager, Fiori, and Content Server (MaxDB).

Manage and maintain the SAP S/4 HANA application, HANA database, and MaxDB, including installation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Install, configure, and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems. Manage the annual disaster recovery drill to ensure business continuity.

Administer user access, roles, and authorizations using SAP Security. Ensure compliance with security policies and implement Single Sign-On (SSO). Maintain system audit compliance.

Manage Linux/Windows environments, VMware virtualization, Veeam Backup and replication solutions, SAN storage, and failover clustering technologies.

Oversee backup operations, conduct regular restoration tests, and ensure all system data is successfully backed up according to approved SOPs.

Perform regular system health checks and performance tuning. Implement SAP Early Watch recommendations and apply performance optimizations. Analyze system traces, logs, and dumps for proactive issue resolution.

Configure and maintain integration with other SAP and third-party systems. Manage interfaces such as SAP PI/PO, IDocs, RFC, and Web Services to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP and cloud services.

Apply SAP support packages, enhancement packs, and kernel upgrades. Plan and execute SAP version upgrades and migrations, including OS/DB migrations.

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for system issues. Collaborate with functional teams, SAP support (OSS), and apply SAP Notes as required. Troubleshoot issues related to system crashes, performance degradation, and security breaches.

Expertly administer SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Ensure optimal system performance, security, and availability while managing backups, patches, and automation tasks.

Research and recommend innovative ideas and automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify solutions that leverage resources efficiently and provide economies of scale.

Experience:

Up to 8 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in a related domain.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP BASIS, HANA Database Administration, Server Virtualization, SAP S/4 HANA Application, FIORI, System Administration, and SUSE Linux.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.

Professional certifications such as SAP BASIS, VMware, or SUSE Linux are required. Additional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or BCM will be an advantage.

Candidate should have strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
