SAS / AML Specialist

Job Description

Skill Set:

Proficiency in SAS AML 7.1 application programming (Base SAS & Advanced SAS)

SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) & Oracle PL/SQL knowledge

Basic understanding of Linux operating systems

Applications Supported:

SAS Application Support (Anti-Money Laundering), including Configuration & User Management via SAS Administrative Console

Data Warehouse Data Marts (ETL SQL)

DTS development, configuration, execution & monitoring (internal development) – Optional

Dunning process – daily full support (internal development)

Month-end process – full support (internal development)

Additional Skills:

Working knowledge of software development methods and techniques

Strong knowledge and experience with UNIX OS, shell scripting, and development tools

Ability to review, understand, and improve program code and system documentation

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare system documentation

Ability to interpret solution documentation, identify areas of concern, and recommend approaches

Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment and work on multiple projects with tight deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively with business users and project managers

Innovative mindset with the ability to deliver functional applications with intuitive interfaces

Proficiency in all phases of the software development life cycle: analysis, design, functionality, testing, and support

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial services or IT sector
