Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with various business units to recommend and implement effective fraud and risk mitigation strategies aimed at significantly reducing organizational exposure. Utilize investigative skills to monitor, audit, and analyze suspicious activities, producing detailed root cause analysis reports along with actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. Partner with product managers and engineering teams to evaluate and improve the performance of existing fraud detection tools, processes, and policies. Stay updated on emerging fraud trends within local markets and develop intelligent strategies and systems to counteract evolving threats. Design and implement workflows that define different fraud typologies and identify new risk categories as they arise. Establish key performance indicators and develop visual dashboards to enable efficient tracking, reporting, and feedback on fraud prevention measures.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in antifraud, risk management, data analytics, data science, or strategic roles, preferably within e-commerce or technology sectors. Strong understanding of fraud and risk challenges specific to the e-commerce industry is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering, computer science, data science, information technology, or a related discipline. Proficient in data analysis with the ability to manage complex datasets, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights; hands-on experience with SQL and Excel is essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across business units.
