About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a high-availability infrastructure built on:

• Dedicated Servers
• Multi-VM architecture
• ZFS Replication
• HA Cluster configuration
• Application deployments managed via Laravel Forge

Each VM hosts a full-stack web application (WebApp + MySQL). The objective is to ensure automated failover, high availability, and production-grade reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement HA cluster using Proxmox VE
• Configure and optimize ZFS replication between nodes
• Implement and maintain Proxmox HA Manager
• Setup and manage quorum device (QDevice)
• Ensure proper VM failover and recovery procedures
• Optimize VM resource allocation (CPU, RAM, storage)
• Maintain secure networking between cluster nodes
• Monitor replication jobs and HA status
• Integrate deployment workflows with Laravel Forge
• Create infrastructure documentation and failover testing procedures
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Proxmox clustering
• Deep understanding of ZFS (snapshots, replication, performance tuning)
• Experience with high-availability VM environments
• Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian)
• MySQL administration in VM environments
• Networking fundamentals (VLAN, firewall rules, private networking)
• SSH key management & deployment automation
• Experience with Laravel Forge deployment workflows
