Senior Fashion Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Fashion Designer to join our Design Dhaga Division. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for fashion and a passion for design, who can effectively contribute to the development of cutting-edge apparel and accessories. 

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fashion illustration, pattern making, and a robust understanding of textile materials. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee a small team of two designers, guiding them in their creative endeavors while ensuring that all designs are aligned with the brand's vision. Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with various departments to bring concepts to life and ensuring every detail meets our high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make an impact within the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and initial sketches that reflect the brand's identity and aesthetic.
• Select and source quality fabrics and embellishments, balancing aesthetic appeal with cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with the design team and other departments, ensuring cohesive communication throughout the design process.
• Oversee garment construction processes to guarantee alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to their team, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
• Conduct trend analysis to stay ahead of market developments, ensuring that designs are relevant and appealing to target customers.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from various stakeholders, integrating constructive criticism to enhance the final product.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications and fabric choices for reference throughout production.
• Participate in fittings, providing guidance and recommendations to fine-tune designs and enhance fit and finish.
• Actively contribute to team brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design challenges.
