The Product Operations team is essential in optimizing Careem’s offerings, especially the Careem Food app, by enabling seamless collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, growth, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and continuous enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
In-App Content Configuration & Execution: Manage and configure content components and widgets within the Careem Food mini app using internal tools. Ensure that all content aligns with product and marketing strategies and is implemented accurately. Execute updates carefully to prevent any user-facing errors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Growth, and Platform teams to support timely feature launches and marketing campaigns. Coordinate efforts to synchronize in-app content releases with product updates and promotional activities.
Content Quality & Consistency: Maintain uniformity across all in-app content modules. Perform thorough quality checks to ensure both visual appeal and functional accuracy in every release.
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current content configuration workflows and contribute to refining processes. Assist in documenting best practices to support scalable and efficient content operations.
Basic Data Monitoring: Help track the performance of in-app content and provide insights to guide future improvements. Support evaluation of feature impact through basic data analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
Scripting & Tooling Comfort: Experience or familiarity with scripting tools or content management platforms such as JSON-based systems, internal CMS tools, or low-code environments.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision when setting up content, executing configurations, and monitoring performance to ensure high quality and accuracy.
Basic Product Understanding: Awareness of how technology products operate and how in-app experiences affect user behavior.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across diverse teams, share insights, and gather feedback.
Analytical Skills: Capability to interpret data and extract actionable insights to improve content performance and user experience.
Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain workflow efficiency.
Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and contributing to timely, effective solutions.
Customer Focus: A user-first mindset to help shape and validate content and features that meet customer needs.
