Role Description The Senior Textile Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division studio. This role is responsible for research and developing textile concepts, including print, weave, and embroidery directions aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning. The Senior Textile Designer will research trends, motifs, colors, and materials, translating inspiration and brand references into cohesive textile stories for seasonal collections. The role also involves overseeing sampling, providing clear design specifications to in-house artisans, reviewing and refining strike-offs, and maintaining design archives and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in textiles and textile prints, with the ability to develop high-end fabrics, patterns, and surface designs.
• Degree from a reputable and recognised university in the field of textile design.
• Must posses at least 2-3 years working as a textile designer for a fashion brand.
• Proficiency in embroidery design and embellishment techniques, including creating detailed artwork and specifications for luxury couture.
• Advanced skills in graphics and graphic design for textile applications, including digital print layouts and repeat patterns.
• Demonstrated experience in senior-level textile design roles within fashion or luxury apparel, ideally in couture or high-end ready-to-wear.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong sense of colour, composition, and trend awareness, with the ability to interpret South Asian and global fashion influences.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional creative and production teams.
