Senior Video Editor

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor with 5 to 8 years of professional expertise in video editing and multimedia production. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to produce high-quality video content specifically designed for digital and social media platforms. This role demands proficiency in both traditional editing methods and the latest AI-driven video and image generation technologies. The position is full-time and based in DHA Phase 6, Karachi, with working hours from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. The starting salary for this in-person role is Rs110,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce professional-quality videos optimized for various digital and social media platforms.
- Create engaging short-form content such as reels, shorts, and advertisements that capture audience attention.
- Develop whiteboard animations and explainer videos to clearly communicate concepts and ideas.
- Utilize AI-based video and image generation tools to enhance creativity and improve workflow efficiency.
- Apply advanced post-production techniques including color grading, sound design, and motion effects to elevate video quality.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and meets the specific requirements of each platform.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling content strategies that align with business goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in video editing or multimedia production.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience working with AI-based video and image generation tools.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation principles.
- Proven track record of creating content tailored for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with excellent storytelling skills to engage viewers effectively.

Additional Information
This role is based in DHA Phase 6, Karachi, and requires full-time, in-person attendance from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm. The starting monthly salary is Rs110,000.
