We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager with a strong background in the IT or tech industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business growth. You will work closely with the design, content, and product teams to position our IT services and solutions effectively in the digital space.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing and business goals.
  • Manage the company’s presence across all major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content tailored to each platform, focusing on IT services, software solutions, product launches, and industry trends.
  • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, etc.) using tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
  • Analyze trends and competitor activity to optimize campaigns and increase visibility within the IT and tech space.
  • Work closely with designers and developers to create visually compelling posts, infographics, and short videos.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Sales, Product) to support cross-functional campaigns and employer branding.
  • Engage with followers and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Plan and run paid campaigns when required to boost reach, generate leads, or promote IT solutions.
  • Generate monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.


 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in the IT or software industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and IT audience personas.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe hootsuite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into engaging, audience-friendly content.
  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and digital marketing trends.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.


 

Preferred:

  • Experience with tech events, webinars, or product launch promotions.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or web content management systems (like WordPress) is a plus.
