Structural Engineer

Trovesce is seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer with expertise in structural analysis, steel structure design, and structural modeling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate applies engineering principles to design, analyze, and evaluate structures, ensuring safety, stability, and durability. This role involves utilizing software tools like AutoCAD and SAP2000 to create detailed designs and conduct simulations that support construction and infrastructure projects. Although this position does not require managing a team, collaboration with diverse project members is essential to achieve project objectives effectively. The Structural Engineer will contribute to various phases of project development, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction support. The role requires a strong understanding of materials, load factors, and environmental considerations affecting structural integrity. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience and be committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions within project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities
 

• Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects using software tools such as SAP2000 and AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed structural drawings and documentation to support construction and fabrication activities.
• Evaluate structural systems and provide recommendations to improve safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Analyze material properties and select appropriate construction materials for steel structures and other components.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and technical documentation for client review and regulatory approvals.
• Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices related to structural engineering and construction.
• Assist in troubleshooting engineering issues during the construction phase and propose effective solutions.
• Support project planning activities by estimating timelines, materials, and resource requirements based on structural designs.
