The company is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner for a six-month contract based in Karachi, Pakistan. This role is focused on recruiting top-tier technical talent to support Careem’s expanding Data & AI and Engineering teams. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to develop strategic talent pipelines and ensure a smooth hiring process in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor by partnering with Engineering and Data & AI leadership to understand their goals, forecast hiring needs, and co-create effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Exhibit sourcing expertise by proactively identifying and engaging high-quality technical candidates. Provide insights on competitor hiring practices and market benchmarks to guide recruitment efforts.
- Recruit for critical technical roles such as Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other key positions that underpin Careem’s technology infrastructure across markets including UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
- Enhance the candidate experience by ensuring clear communication, setting realistic expectations, and maintaining a positive, transparent hiring journey from start to finish.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and handling offer negotiations, while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Utilize data-driven approaches by sharing market intelligence, recruitment metrics, and progress updates with stakeholders. Monitor pipeline health, time-to-fill, and talent trends to continuously improve hiring strategies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong emphasis on technical recruiting within Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics fields.
- Demonstrated success in fast-moving environments such as startups, scale-ups, or rapidly growing technology companies.
- Proficiency in managing full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing and offer management, with experience using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities, capable of building trust, providing constructive feedback, and driving results.
- A proactive, creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by contributing to the growth of a significant organization.
