Team Lead – AI & Computer Vision (Founding Role)

We're building the next-generation AI video analytics platform — think proactive surveillance, real-time insights, and safety-first intelligence — all powered by computer vision. If you're excited by the idea of transforming standard cameras into smart decision-making tools, this is your moment.

As our first technical hire, you'll work directly with the founder to shape our product, build core features, and grow the engineering team. You'll own the technical roadmap and help bring AI to the edge in real-world environments like retail, logistics, and critical infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

Lead development of AI/computer vision modules for real-time video analytics.
Build scalable, efficient systems to process live camera feeds.
Work on facial recognition, safety gear detection, behavioral analytics, and more.
Make architecture and hiring decisions as we scale the team.
Collaborate with product and design to deliver customer-focused features.

What We're Looking For:

At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years focused on AI, computer vision, or deep learning. Strong track record of building and deploying production-grade systems.
Leadership mindset — you've led small teams or want to build one.
Python (core language for ML/CV)
C++ (for performance-critical components)
PyTorch or TensorFlow
OpenCV, FFmpeg, YOLO, MediaPipe, or similar CV toolkits
Experience with Docker, Linux, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Bonus: Node.js, FastAPI, Kafka, or experience with edge devices
