Team Lead Mechanical

Education & Relevant Experience: 2-4 Years (BSc/ B.E/B. Tech Mechanical). FMCG experience is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Machinery Maintenance
• Detailed knowledge of Machine Parts (Bearing, Gears, Rollers etc.)
• Brief knowledge of Maintenance Management and Equipment
• Thorough knowledge of Fabrication / Parts Machining
• Well versed with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
• Adequate knowledge of Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices.
• Knowledge of Food Industry Dimensions and Dynamics.
• Understanding of Food Safety Standards.
• Knowledge of Industry based Materials.
• Knowledge of ASME and API standards.

Job Description:

Plant Maintenance

• Ensure effective repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment as per set maintenance plan.
• Hands on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out repairs/refurbishment of any parts/assemblies replaced on the machines.
• Check and place the order for any backup spare part which needs to be kept in the shift maintenance workshop.
• Coordinate with the Production team on week closing for Sunday shutdown related activities and plan for the spare parts and resources accordingly.
• Prepare and submit the shift end reports mentioning the status of the plant; notifications raised and their status; pending issues; spare parts requirements, and basic RCAs of breakdowns during their shifts.
• Ensuring achievement of the following KPIs: 1. Root Cause Analysis 2. One Point Lesson. 3. Continuous Improvement 4. MTTR (Mean Time To Repair). 5. MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure).

Inspection of Shift Operations

• Carryout inspection activities through condition-based monitoring as per set inspection plan.
• Ensure that all 3P contractors have filled assigned checklist as per inspection plan.
• Ensure that production targets are met through implementing condition-based monitoring by ensuring plant uptime as per defined KPIs.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with contractors/service providers for smooth operation of the plant and timely completion of the jobs assigned to them.
