Padena Polymer supplies polymer compounds and adhesive systems for steel pipe coating — including PE topcoat compounds, MAH-g-PE tie-layer adhesives (for FBE-based 3LPE/3LPP), and black masterbatch. We work with steel pipe manufacturers with coating lines and pipe-coating contractors.
Role
We’re hiring a Technical Sales Engineer (Polymers) in Karachi or Lahore to grow our pipeline-coating portfolio. You will sell into pipe mills/coating plants and lead vendor-list registrations & technical approvals with operators/EPCs.
Responsibilities
• Open vendor registrations; submit complete dossiers (Company Profile, TDS/SDS/COA, QA certs, test reports).
• Plan & run 3LPE/3LPP line trials (FBE + tie-layer + PE topcoat); record parameters, results, actions.
• Coordinate third-party testing to ISO 21809-1 / DIN 30670 with approved labs; manage sampling & logistics.
• Own the sales cycle: prospecting → meetings → quotations → negotiations → closing → after-sales.
• Maintain clean CRM, vendor-code tracker, and weekly pipeline/forecast (≥80% accuracy).
• Collaborate with technical/R&D for product tweaks and trial support.
Qualifications
• BSc in Polymer / Chemical / Materials Engineering (PEC is a plus).
• 2–3 years of B2B technical sales in polymers/chemicals/coatings—ideally pipe/coating exposure.
• Working knowledge of extrusion/compounding and 3LPE/3LPP stacks (FBE primer, tie-layer, PE topcoat).
• Proficiency in Urdu & English; willing to travel nationwide.
We offer
PKR 180,000–260,000 per month + quarterly sales incentive; travel/fuel allowance, phone/SIM, laptop, and continuous technical training.
