2. Role Overview

We are looking for a Communication Systems Engineer – Wireless & RF Communication, Southeast Asia & Oceania to support SolutionMall’s communication system project development, technical communication, requirement clarification, and solution matching across Southeast Asia and Oceania.

This role mainly covers markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and other relevant regional opportunities where applicable.

This is a flexible cooperation-based role suitable for professionals with experience in wireless communication, RF communication, radio systems, microwave transmission, communication network projects, telecom infrastructure, industrial communication, IoT connectivity, or system integration.

The role focuses on supporting early-stage technical communication, identifying real project requirements, assisting RFQ development, matching suitable products and solutions, and helping SolutionMall promote wireless and RF communication system solutions in regional markets.

This is not limited to telecom operator engineering. It is a technical and project-support role that combines communication system knowledge, customer communication, requirement clarification, product selection, RFQ support, and project advancement.

3. Key Responsibilities

Technical Requirement and Project Support

Support project communication across Southeast Asia and Oceania, including projects related to:

Telecom infrastructure

Wireless communication systems

RF communication networks

Radio communication systems

Microwave transmission links

Industrial communication systems

IoT connectivity projects

Data center and network infrastructure

Security and CCTV transmission systems

Smart facility and infrastructure projects

System integrators, contractors, consultants, and project owners

Communicate with customers, contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to understand project background, technical needs, site conditions, coverage requirements, frequency range, transmission distance, network structure, installation environment, and procurement direction.

Support SolutionMall in identifying qualified communication system opportunities and moving them from early communication to practical RFQ and quotation discussions.

Wireless & RF Communication Solution Matching

Support technical selection and solution matching for communication categories, including:

Wireless communication equipment

RF communication products

Radio communication devices

Microwave transmission equipment

Antennas and RF accessories

Signal transmission and receiving equipment

Communication modules and gateways

Industrial routers and wireless networking devices

IoT communication devices

Fiber optic communication products

Network switches and communication devices

Structured cabling and network infrastructure

Communication testing instruments and installation tools

Help customers and project stakeholders select suitable products based on application scenario, coverage needs, transmission distance, signal stability, frequency requirements, bandwidth, environment, installation conditions, compatibility, and long-term maintenance needs.

RFQ and Quotation Coordination

Follow up on project background, technical specifications, procurement lists, drawings, budget expectations, delivery timeline, and approval process.

Help convert early project interest into active RFQs and practical quotation discussions.

Coordinate with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, and customers to keep qualified communication system opportunities moving forward.

Assist in product comparison, technical confirmation, quotation communication, commercial negotiation support, and order-related follow-up where needed.

Technical and Market Feedback

Collect and share local market feedback, including:

Common communication system project requirements

Wireless and RF application needs

Preferred product specifications

Frequency and coverage expectations

Local standards and project approval habits

Pricing sensitivity

Competitor activity

Channel conditions

Customer purchasing habits

Installation and maintenance expectations

Help SolutionMall improve its regional product selection, project communication, and cooperation strategy in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

4. Qualifications

Required

2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

Communication system engineering

Wireless communication systems

RF communication products

Radio communication systems

Microwave transmission systems

Telecom infrastructure projects

Industrial communication systems

IoT communication or connectivity

Fiber optic communication products

Network infrastructure or data center communication systems

CCTV/security transmission networks

System integration or technical project support

Technical sales or solution support for communication products

Familiar with communication system products and able to understand technical requirements, product selection, RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, and customer communication.

Basic understanding of wireless signal coverage, RF communication, transmission distance, antenna selection, network connectivity, installation environment, or communication system application scenarios.

Good communication skills and ability to work with customers, contractors, procurement teams, suppliers, distributors, and project stakeholders.

Working proficiency in English.

Preferred

Existing customer, contractor, system integrator, or project resources in Southeast Asia or Oceania.

Experience with telecom companies, system integrators, contractors, consultants, infrastructure projects, industrial facilities, smart facility projects, or communication equipment distributors.

Experience in RFQ follow-up, tender support, quotation coordination, technical-commercial communication, or project opportunity development.

Familiarity with local communication project ecosystems, approval workflows, procurement channels, and infrastructure market conditions in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Experience with wireless communication equipment, RF products, antennas, microwave transmission, industrial routers, IoT gateways, fiber optic products, or communication testing instruments is a strong advantage.
