Tender & Estimation Engineer

Accrescent Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tender & Estimation Engineer to join their team at the Head Office located on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and possess a strong background in electrical engineering. This role involves preparing detailed technical and commercial estimates for various electrical and automation projects, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and collaborating closely with multiple departments to support successful project bids.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, drawings, and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) thoroughly.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial estimates, quotations, and proposals for electrical, automation, BTD/Busbar, and related projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs/Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assigned projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and prepare comprehensive cost comparison analyses.
- Coordinate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Project teams to gather necessary technical and commercial inputs.
- Ensure all tender submissions meet the specified requirements, standards, and deadlines.
- Identify project costs, potential risks, exclusions, and commercial conditions to support risk mitigation.
- Prepare clarifications for tenders and assist in negotiations with clients and vendors.
- Maintain organized records of all submitted tenders, quotations, and estimation data for future reference.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Sc.) or a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical.
- Proven experience of 2 to 5 years in tendering and estimation within the electrical or industrial automation sectors.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, BTD/Busbar, and switchgear.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Excellent analytical, costing, and numerical skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
