The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, market execution, and distributor performance within the assigned territory, ensuring achievement of volume, value, and distribution targets in line with Unity Foods’ commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned territory to achieve primary and secondary sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and monitor Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) to ensure effective market coverage and execution.
  • Ensure availability, visibility, and execution of company brands across all relevant channels.
  • Manage distributor operations including stock management, credit discipline, and route productivity.
  • Execute trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and brand activities in the territory.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
  • Ensure timely reporting, compliance with company policies, and accurate sales data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-3 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in food or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of GT channel.
  • Proven team leadership and distributor management experience.
