In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Risk Management.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title:Unit Head - Risk Review (AVP / VP)

Reporting to:

Wing Head - Risk Governance & Control - Retail and Program Lending Division

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university /college / institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having Masters degree and / or any other relevant professional certification(s) will be preferred

Experience:

Minimum 06 years of experience in regulatory compliance and / or internal audit and / or risk management within a commercial bank

Candidates having experience of working in a similar role in large scale / public-sector organizations will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations, Risk Management Framework and Audit Methodologies
• Strong communication and coordination skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
• High level of integrity, analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of retail lending products, operational risk and control frameworks
• Good business acumen and process efficiency
• Excellent analytical, process control and design and coordination skills
• Well conversant with MS office

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To coordinate and respond to internal, external and regulatory audits related to retail and program lending portfolios
• To review audit findings, identify causes and ensure timely corrective action
• To liaise with product / business, operations and credit policy teams to ensure end to end process alignment with policy and regulatory requirements
• To track and report on the closure status of audit and regulatory observations to management
• To conduct compliance checks and highlight any violations or potential risks
• To assist in internal / external audit facilitation and ensure closure of audit observations within timelines
• To conduct awareness sessions for business and support teams on compliance issues
• To develop and maintain an audit / inspection repository for reference and trend analysis
• To perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
