VI - Freelance English Subtitle Editor

As an English Subtitle Editor, you'll be responsible for:

• Editing and proofreading English subtitles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

• Adhering to SUB standards and guidelines and technical specs.

• Ensure subtitles are accurately synchronized with audio and visual elements to enhance viewer experience.

Qualifications:

• Excellent command of written English.

• Excellent listening skills, to be able to decipher spoken English in various slang and/or accents.

• High responsibility and punctuality are a must.

• Experience in transcribing subtitles is a plus.

Conditions:

• This is a freelance position with no limitation as to the location.

• However, applicant must have access to a stable internet connection (required to work on a cloud-based environment).

• Payment is made via PayPal or Payoneer within 30 days of receiving the original invoice (non-negotiable).

• All applicants are required to participate in unpaid technical assessment.
