Cypher Solutions is seeking a skilled Video Editor with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of editing YouTube Shorts and demonstrates a strong understanding of hooks, retention techniques, captions, and sound effects that captivate audiences. This role requires proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, and the ability to craft fast-paced, engaging, and trendy content that resonates with viewers. The Video Editor will work independently to ensure high-quality edits are delivered consistently and on time, contributing to the growth of our digital presence.
Responsibilities
 

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished YouTube Shorts that effectively capture viewer attention and maintain high retention rates.
• Utilize storyboarding techniques to plan and visualize each video project, ensuring a coherent and compelling narrative.
• Incorporate sound editing skills to enhance videos with appropriate sound effects, background music, and clear audio synchronization.
• Apply creative hooks and captions designed to engage the audience within the first few seconds and encourage continued viewing.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align video edits with current trends and the brands overall messaging strategy.
• Continuously stay updated on emerging video editing techniques, software updates, and social media trends to keep content fresh and competitive.
• Analyze viewer engagement metrics to improve future video edits and optimize content for maximum audience impact.
