About the Project

micro1 is building a large-scale Vision-Language-Action (VLA) dataset to train next-generation humanoid robots. We’re onboarding contributors to record short, first-person videos of everyday household activities using a smartphone.

If you can fold laundry, pour water, organize items, or clean a surface — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Record 1–15 minute POV (hands-only) videos of simple household tasks
• Tasks include organizing items, cleaning surfaces, storing food, or completing small daily routines
• Upload videos through our internal platform while following quality guidelines

Requirements

• Smartphone with 1080p @ 30fps
• iPhone preferred; Android accepted (must have 0.5x / 0.6x ultra-wide lens)
• Native 16:9 aspect ratio
• Clear camera and microphone
• Ability to mount phone at head height (head strap / chest mount / tripod)
• Stable indoor space with good lighting

Payment

• Paid per approved video hour
• Only quality-approved videos are paid
• Example: Submit 10 hours → Get paid for approved hours

Sample Video (Required)

• Submit 1 short sample video before onboarding
• Used only to verify POV, angle, and setup
• Payment starts after onboarding
