Job Overview

Our client, a leading firm in the U.S. renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

This is a hybrid role based in Karachi, working exclusively with and for a U.S.-based firm. The candidate must be detail-oriented, proficient in financial software, and available to work in shifts overlapping with U.S. working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing:

Validate and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Verify approvals and compliance with company policies.
Vendor Management:

Maintain and update vendor records.
Address and resolve payment-related queries with vendors.
Payment Processing:

Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely transactions.
Reconciliation & Reporting:

Reconcile vendor statements with internal records to identify discrepancies.
Assist in audit processes and provide necessary documentation.
Month & Quarter-End Closing:

Support the finance manager in completing assigned closing tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
1-2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and invoice processing systems
Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
