Assistant-Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Imam Hospital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (Assistant COO) to support the COO in executing strategic, operational, and quality initiatives across the hospital. This role is ideal for professionals with healthcare experience looking to contribute to high-level decision-making and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the COO in the development and execution of strategic plans
• Coordinate and monitor clinical, administrative, and support services
• Assist in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards
• Help drive patient safety initiatives, service quality enhancements, and project implementation
• Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management tasks
• Prepare performance reports and presentations for the executive leadership team

Qualifications

Education:

• MBBS – Mandatory
• MBA – Preferred (Healthcare Management focus)

Certifications:

• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma, CPHQ, or relevant healthcare quality certifications

Experience:

• 5+ years in healthcare management or administrative roles, with exposure to senior leadership environments

Skills:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
• Working knowledge of hospital operations and healthcare quality systems
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proactive problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to support change management and process improvement initiative.
