Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Location: Gulshan e Iqbal, Block 6
Working Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to manage end-to-end recruitment, employee engagement initiatives, HR operations, training, payroll, and performance management. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in technical hiring, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across departments.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle, including coordination with recruitment agencies and headhunters, job postings, resume screening, interviews, salary negotiations, and job offers.
  • Handle technical and non-technical hiring requirements across departments.
  • Participate in university and institutional job fairs to attract fresh talent.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and professional institutions.
  • Plan and conduct orientation and onboarding sessions for new employees.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand workforce requirements and ensure timely hiring.

Employee Engagement and HR Initiatives

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the organizational structure and talent progression framework.
  • Create and manage employee performance scoreboards and tracking systems.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs and workplace initiatives.
  • Design and manage the Employee of the Month program, including eligibility and selection criteria.
  • Support employee retention, motivation, and recognition initiatives.

Training and Development

  • Prepare and manage the annual employee training plan and training calendar.
  • Work closely with department heads to identify employee skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
  • Monitor training participation, effectiveness, and employee development progress.

HR Policies and Operations

  • Implement, communicate, and ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and review of compensation, benefits, and employee reward plans.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance data, payroll information, and HR documentation.
  • Manage terminal benefits and employee separation procedures.
  • Process full and final settlements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and manage the employee performance appraisal process.
  • Address employee concerns and provide HR support to all departments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BBA or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Experience in payroll, performance management, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • Sound understanding of HR policies, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems will be preferred.
