What You will do:

As an AM HSE, you will be responsible ensuring compliance, risk management, incident control, and a strong safety culture. The role involves managing HSE systems, audits, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Oversee HSE operations at QICT and off docks as required.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and plans in line with regional and global standards.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and industry HSE standards.
  • Support HSE aspects of projects, including risk assessments and implementation of safety initiatives.
  • Conduct HSE Committee and Emergency Planning meetings; act as lead investigator when required.
  • Review incident reports, track corrective actions, and ensure timely submission via GHSE systems.
  • Manage HSE annual plans, assurance schedules, and maintain HSE performance targets.
  • Ensure maintenance and certification of critical safety equipment and availability of compliant PPE.
  • Perform risk assessments, develop organizational risk profiles, and analyze HSE trends.
  • Issue safety alerts, incident bulletins, and communicate critical safety information.
  • Maintain HSE systems, support ISO certifications, and coordinate internal/external audits.
  • Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including drills and response planning.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety requirements and loss prevention practices.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and uphold organizational values and code of conduct.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

You Bring (Qualification & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred. Only HEC or University attested degrees will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years’ field experience in HSE.
  • Additional HSE/industrial safety certifications are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of occupational health, safety, and environmental principles.
  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards (ISO, ports & shipping preferred).
  • Experience in incident investigations and HSE management system development.
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual in English and Urdu.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have LTV Driving license.
  • Must be able to perform in rotational shift.
