Job Title: Cashier

Location: Karachi (Saddar)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous and professional service to patients and attendants.
• Guide patients regarding payment procedures and hospital billing policies.
• Coordinate with billing, admissions, and patient accounts departments for payment-related matters.
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital financial controls and audit requirements.
• Safeguard confidential patient and financial information.
• Maintain proper filing of receipts, deposit slips, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Billing, Corporate Office, Admissions, and Patient Accounts departments.
• Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and billing-related issues.
• Support finance department during audits and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of cashiering experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and computerized billing systems.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Hospital Information Systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle large transaction volumes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
