Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Generalists (Grocery) to work on a contract basis. In this role, you will apply your real-world grocery expertise to help train and refine next-generation AI systems by providing accurate, high-quality input derived from your domain knowledge. Your contributions will directly shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform across critical retail contexts. This opportunity leverages your practical experience in grocery operations to build robust, reliable AI agents and training data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently select and organize grocery products according to established store standards, ensuring optimal product placement and merchandising for customer appeal.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels through regular checks to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, supporting smooth store operations.

• Assess product freshness with special attention to perishable items, promptly removing or reporting expired goods to uphold quality and safety.

• Support daily store activities by stocking shelves and maintaining clean, attractive, and well-organized product displays.

• Assist customers virtually by providing accurate product information and addressing routine inquiries based on in-store knowledge and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in grocery retail operations, including product selection, merchandising, and inventory management.

• Familiarity with grocery store standards, product freshness protocols, and customer service best practices.

• Ability to assess and organize products efficiently within a fast-paced retail environment.

• Strong attention to detail to monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies or issues promptly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual customer support and reporting.
