IT Desktop Support Executive

As a Desktop Support Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of desktop, laptop, notebooks & PC systems within our organization. You will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining a secure and efficient computing environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users for desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals
• Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related problems.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect desktop systems from potential threats
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to desktop systems
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventory

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications are highly desired
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT role
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other common desktop applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Office 365 and AWS is a plus
