About the Role:
The position is responsible to lead the MEP department and oversee the proper day-to-day functioning of all power generation and related equipment. Moreover, the position is also required to promptly resolve any problems and/or equipment related issues that may arise at the Head Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee logbooks, equipment parameters, standby availability, and review MIS reports to resolve equipment-related issues and troubleshoot problems.
Supervise risk assessments, ensure adherence to safety protocols, ISO standards, and conduct routine audits to minimize breaches and accidents.
Lead all project-related tasks, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion while implementing industry best practices and managing MEP change orders.
Oversee consultants, contractors, and internal staff throughout project phases—design, specification, bidding, installation, and execution.
Sign off on helpdesk complaints, forward them to relevant departments, check summary reports (HVSC, power, CCTV), and supervise documentation processes.
Manage scope reviews, bi-annual budgets, project cost estimates, and ensure the annual spare parts budget and installation costs remain within limits.
Monitor daily fuel efficiency, address MEP equipment breakdowns, and liaise with consultants, engineers, inspectors, and relevant stakeholders for continuous improvements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with a focus on MEP systems
Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Safety Certification are a plus.
