PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Medical Officer.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Provide medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to employees and eligible dependents.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to employees, retirees, and eligible dependents through the Healthcare Management System, including medical advice, follow-up care, and referral coordination.
  • Manage primary emergencies and stabilise patients before referral to panel hospitals when required.
  • Conduct OPD consultations and maintain proper documentation in the Healthcare Management System.
  • Coordinate referrals to panel hospitals, laboratories, and specialists as per company policy.
  • Assist with periodic medical examinations and employee fitness assessments.
  • Support occupational health and preventive healthcare programs.
  • Participate in health awareness sessions and employee wellness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and healthcare data.

     

Experience

 

  • Minimum 5 years post-MBBS qualification clinical experience in managing common and Choric Disease.
  • Emergency & industrial trauma management experience including burns, fractures, head injuries, and chemical exposure.
  • Proven occupational health expertise: periodic medical examinations, fitness-for-duty assessments, and workplace health surveillance.
  • Demonstrated healthcare leadership experience, supervising multidisciplinary medical teams.
  • Experience in cost control, and healthcare operations management.
  • Effective coordination with panel hospitals, consultants, laboratories, and government health authorities.
  • Ability to conduct employee wellness programs and health awareness initiatives.
  • Strong computer, administrative, SAP, and communication skills
  • Experience in corporate or industrial healthcare settings will be preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in primary care and emergency management.
  • Ability to conduct OPD consultations, triage patients, and stabilize medical emergencies.
  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and workplace health monitoring.
  • Effective coordination of referrals, laboratory tests, and specialist consultations.
  • Proficient in computer applications, EMR systems, and medical documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient counselling and guidance.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professional ethics and patient-centred care.

     

Qualifications And Competencies

 

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
  • MCPS Family Medical/ Post Graduate Diploma.
