You will be responsible for:
Developing and executing PR strategies for the Yango SuperApp, ride-hailing, and other services in Pakistan
Planning and delivering impactful PR campaigns, including product launches and brand storytelling
Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key local media outlets
Managing crisis communications and reputation risk
Creating proactive, data-driven content such as press releases, interviews, and public statements positioning Yango as a thought leader
Coordinating with local PR agencies and ensuring alignment with Yango communication goals and standards
Organizing media events, press briefings, panels, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility
Supporting the Country Head by crafting thought leadership content, op-eds, and interview responses to reflect Yango’s corporate vision
You might be a fit if you:
Have 7+ years of experience in PR and communications, preferably in a tech or global company
Hold a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
Are fluent in Urdu and English (written and spoken)
Have excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Bring a proven track record in strategic PR planning and executive communications
Are experienced in crisis communication and reputation management
Understand policy and regulatory communications in Pakistan’s mobility and tech sectors
Are confident advising leadership and managing multiple high-stakes projects
Have experience in technology, SuperApps, ride-hailing, or mobility industries
