Quality Assurance (QA) Expert – Academic Writing Department

Digilaxy is looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Expert to join our academic writing team as a full-time (in-house) position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, revising, and ensuring the highest quality of academic work across multiple disciplines. This role requires an expert in academic writing, with the ability to conduct thorough quality checks on 5000-word and 2000-2500-word academic papers while adhering to stringent academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews for academic papers to ensure they meet institutional guidelines, formatting, and referencing standards.
• Revise and improve grammar, coherence, structure, and research quality of submitted academic orders.
• Ensure that the content is plagiarism-free and follows proper citation styles (APA, Harvard, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and suggest necessary improvements.
• Work across multiple academic disciplines, including but not limited to:
• Computer Science
• Nursing & Medicine
• Social Sciences
• Natural Sciences
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical writing practices.
• Collaborate with writers and editors to uphold the highest academic integrity standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of education (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in academic writing, proofreading, and editing.
• Expertise in various academic disciplines, with the ability to review and revise complex research work.
• Strong understanding of academic research methodologies, data analysis, and argument structuring.
• Familiarity with different academic citation and referencing styles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors in grammar, coherence, and logical consistency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reference management tools like EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a QA Specialist, Senior Academic Writer, or Editor in an academic setting.
• Published research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience in mentoring or supervising academic writers.
