The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care to patients with care needs ranging from basic to complex
  • impart patient / family education
  • plan health teaching sessions for patients / families according to their learning need assessment
  • plan and prioritize care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment
  • perform hands off patients' bedside over, carries out special assignment and document
  • provide high quality personalized midwifery care to all assigned patients.
  • plan and prioritize care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment
  • ensure timely, comprehensive and complete nursing documentation as per divisional protocol/standards
  • perform any other related task as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

You should have:

  • a Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited school of Nursing & Midwifery with at least one year's experience
  • valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
  • competency to plan and deliver care to patients with a variety of complex care needs
  • good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
  • willingness to work in shift duties.
