Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls, protocols, and infrastructure for cloud-based systems.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the cloud infrastructure.
Perform security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage identity and access controls, enforce least privilege principles, and ensure proper segregation of duties in the cloud environment.
Coordinate and execute security incident response plans, including analyzing security logs and conducting forensics investigations.
Implement and manage security monitoring tools and processes for continuous monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities through threat intelligence sources.
Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Collaborate with cloud service providers to understand and implement their security frameworks effectively.
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.
