Tracer

·      Assists engineers, draughtsmen, and surveyors by preparing tracings, sketches, and copies of technical drawings. The role ensures accuracy, neatness, and proper maintenance of departmental records and drawings in support of civil, mechanical, or electrical projects.

·      Prepare tracings and copies of maps, plans, and technical drawings.

·      Assist in converting rough sketches into neat, scaled tracings.

·      Maintain and update drawing registers, files, and records.

·      Ensure accuracy, neatness, and compliance with prescribed standards.

·      Operate drawing instruments and maintain drafting materials.

·      Support engineers and draughtsmen in preparing layouts and diagrams.

·      Maintain confidentiality and safe custody of technical documents.

Perform any additional duties assigned by competent authority.
