Water Treatment Consultant

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer or Food Technologist with hands-on experience in the bottled drinking water industry.

The ideal candidate must have previously worked with a bottled water company and should be capable of optimizing our complete water treatment process.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate the complete RO water treatment system.
• Develop and optimize the mineral composition to achieve a consistent, premium taste.
• Recommend the appropriate mineral dosing process and formulation.
• Evaluate the existing filtration system and suggest improvements where required.
• Recommend improvements for water quality, taste consistency, and process efficiency.
• Provide SOPs and technical recommendations for long-term plant operation.
• Train the operations team on the recommended process (if required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a bottled drinking water or beverage manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of RO systems, mineral dosing, water chemistry, and water quality standards.
• Experience in developing or optimizing bottled water taste and mineral composition.
• Knowledge of water quality testing and quality assurance procedures.
• Experience with PSQCA, PCSIR, or relevant bottled water standards will be an added advantage.

Project Nature

This is a one-time consultancy/project-based assignment. The selected consultant will evaluate our existing plant, recommend the required improvements, finalize the mineral composition and treatment process, and complete the project. There is no long-term employment requirement unless mutually agreed.
