Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and possess expertise in various accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial records using accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely payments
• Conduct financial management tasks, including budgeting and forecasting
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior accounting staff
• Utilise PeopleSoft for financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Proficient in financial accounting principles
• Previous experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
