Assistant Professor (BPS-19) English

The applications are invited from the candidates on the prescribed form, including attested Photocopies of all relevant documents and Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 4000/- (non-refundable) as processing fee in favour of the University of Mirpurkhas and should reach undersigned on or before 27th October, 2025 for the under mentioned posts. The prescribed application form(s) can be downloaded from the website www.umpk.edu.pk/career or can be obtained from Office of the Director Human Resources, the University of Mirpurkhas.Candidates applying for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should submit four (04) copies of their bio-data/C.V. along with required Research Papers and other relevant documents showing details of
work/teaching experience and Research Publications, in hard binding.
Need to submit the reference letter from the previous employer/already working.
Candidates having Sindh Province Domicile.
Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by NOC from the employer, and will be responsible for getting themselves relieved properly from their departments.
Qualifications and experience shall be calculated/examined as on closing date of submission of applications.
Should not have third division in entire academic career.
Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with a separate bank draft with necessary documents for each post.
Incomplete applications i.e. without educational, professional, and experience certificates, processing fee etc., or applications received after the specified date shall not be entertained.
The envelope should be marked with the post applied for.
The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised post(s) partly or as a whole.
Only short-listed candidates shall be called for test/interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview/written test.
Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC Pakistan.
These positions are contractual for two years, contract likely to be extended.
These positions are in accordance with the Government of Sindh's Defined Contributory Pension Scheme/Policy.
Any faculty member (who is already serving in any public sector university on regular basis) if selected on higher positions, Shall be appointed on regular basis.
