Job Description DBA Transformation – Database Administrator

– DBA SME with must have skills for MS SQL Server

– Experience with SQL Server cluster, configuration for high availability, performance optimizations, backup process etc.

– identify and fix tactical pain points (eg DB lock, performance issues, optimization of DB schema for read and/or write heavy applications

– Knowledge about Security and other standard compliance related configurations

– Knowledge of Data sharding/archival strategy and ability to convince the stakeholders on what to implement/how to implement and in what timelines (thin vertical slices)
