The programme focuses on:

Assessment Responsibilities
The assessor will evaluate learners across the following areas:
1. Practical Assignments (50%)
- Assess design collections, garment construction, and technical execution
- Evaluate creativity, originality, and use of advanced techniques
- Review sustainability integration and material application
2. Written Assessments (30%)
- Evaluate knowledge of fashion design principles
- Assess understanding of textile innovation and sustainability
- Review insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and business concepts
3. Observation & Participation (10%)
- Assess professionalism, teamwork, and studio practices
- Observe engagement in collaborative and practical activities
4. Final Project & Presentation (10%)
- Evaluate complete fashion collections including garments and technical quality
- Review lookbooks and branding materials
- Assess presentation (portfolio or runway-style showcase)

- Ability to assess both practical and theoretical components effectively
Preferred Profile
- Industry experience in fashion design, couture, or apparel production
- Familiarity with digital tools (Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D)
- Experience with TVET or City & Guilds-aligned frameworks
- Strong attention to detail with a structured evaluation approach
