We are seeking an HR Operations Intern to join our HR team and support the delivery of client-focused human resource services. This internship offers practical exposure to managing various stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance tracking, performance monitoring, and exit procedures. The role provides valuable insights into HR operations within a service-provider environment and has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the end-to-end management of employees assigned to clients, covering hiring, onboarding, attendance monitoring, and exit formalities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data within HR systems in line with client requirements. Prepare HR letters, reports, and compliance documentation for client review. Coordinate with client representatives to resolve HR-related queries and provide timely updates. Support HR projects by contributing to process improvements and conducting research on best practices to enhance service delivery. Perform additional HR operational tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates majoring in HR. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The internship is based in Karachi and requires a willingness to travel up to 100%. This is a full-time internship with a contract duration of two months. A monthly stipend ranging from Rs15,000 to Rs20,000 will be provided. The work location is in person. There is an opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.
