Position: Internal Auditor
Location: Lahore (Leather Shoe Manufacturing Company)
Experience: Maximum 3-5 years of relevant experience (Leather / Footwear Manufacturing industry preferred)
Department: Audit & Compliance
Reports To: CFO

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced candidate to handle internal audit activities, compliance reviews, and ensure timely reporting to the Director as per organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial, production, and inventory processes
• Attend to audit-related inquiries from various departments
• Handle and maintain accurate audit records and documentation
• Correspond with department heads regarding audit findings and corrective actions
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly audit reports to the Director
• Review pricing, procurement, sales transactions, and compliance with company policies
• Prepare and process audit requisitions and compliance checklists
• Prepare audit observations and track implementation of recommendations
• Identify internal control weaknesses and suggest improvements
• Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and sales departments for audit compliance
• Verify stock records of raw materials (leather, chemicals, hardware) and finished goods (shoes)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements

Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree / Master’s degree from a reputable university (Finance, Accounting, or Commerce preferred)
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant internal audit experience (Leather / Footwear Manufacturing industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of audit procedures and internal controls
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple departments and prepare regular audit reports
