Job Title: Junior Associate Import

Location: Onsite, Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Pakistan

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

One of our clients is looking for a motivated and proactive individual for the position of Junior Associate Import/Export Documentation Officer. The selected individual will prepare necessary documents and coordinate with different stakeholders. The person will also be contributing to maturing our client's import and export policies, processes and procedures. Training and development will be provided covering job duties and responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Issue proforma invoices based on order details.
• Ensure that letter of credit (LC) terms align with issued proforma Invoices.
• Coordinate with the Production Department on shipment readiness.
• Prepare and submit Goods Declaration (GD) to Customs using Web Based One Customs (WeBOC).
• Complete documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (B/L), Sea Waybills (SWBs), Container Release Orders (CROs), and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
• Coordinate effectively and efficiently with different stakeholders.
• Contribute to developing, refining, implementing, and maintaining import/export policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors and/or management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trade international business, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates may apply. One year of experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Focus on effective problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Growth mindset.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
