Freshbag is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and procurement of fresh produce, vendors, and general commodities. Responsibilities
 

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for fresh produce, vendor management, and general commodities to meet company requirements.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure optimal agreements with suppliers while ensuring compliance with Freshbag policies.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to foster collaboration, reliability, and continuous improvement in the supply chain.
• Monitor market trends and evaluate product availability, price fluctuations, and supplier performance to anticipate procurement challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and align sourcing strategies with operational needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods by coordinating with suppliers and tracking order status to prevent disruptions in supply.
• Analyze procurement data, prepare detailed reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous cost optimization.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards and Freshbags ethical purchasing policies.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
