About the Role

A leading AI research organization is seeking Urdu speakers to support a short-term project focused on improving multilingual AI systems. In this role, you will assess spoken Urdu content, verify linguistic accuracy, and ensure that cultural nuances are captured effectively in AI-generated materials.

Your contributions will help train advanced models to better understand and communicate in Urdu, with respect for regional variations, modern expressions, and cultural context.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and verify spoken Urdu and audio content for linguistic accuracy.
• Watch and review video content in Urdu, providing structured and culturally informed feedback.
• Collaborate with the research team to ensure all outputs reflect authentic cultural and linguistic standards.
• Stay current with modern Urdu usage, including slang, idioms, and regional variations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of virtual or avatar-based platforms for Urdu content delivery and review.

Ideal Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cultural norms, communication etiquette, and traditions in Urdu-speaking regions.
• Strong awareness of contemporary Urdu trends, expressions, and linguistic shifts.
• Ability to work with audio/video content using standard digital tools.

Nice to Have:

• High proficiency in English to explain Urdu language patterns and concepts.
• Comfort using virtual platforms and digital tools.
• Experience in language tutoring, teaching, or linguistic assessment.
• Familiarity with language evaluation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Project Details

• Duration: 2 weeks (short-term engagement)
• Commitment: ~20 hours per week
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work at your own pace
• Structure: Work within a guided, structured environment with defined goals and tools
