Job Description

The Admission Officer at Hamdard University is responsible for managing student inquiries, guiding applicants through the admission process, and ensuring accurate application handling and data management. The role includes coordinating admission activities and supporting enrollment efforts.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, minimum 1 year of experience, strong communication skills (Urdu & English), and proficiency in MS Office and SIS systems, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities
 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to student inquiries regarding admission requirements and procedures.
  • Guide prospective students through the entire admission process, including application completion and submission.
  • Review and verify application documents to ensure completeness and compliance with institutional standards.
  • Maintain and update accurate student records in the Student Information Systems and other data management tools.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to verify program requirements and support admissions decisions.
  • Organize and participate in admission campaigns, outreach activities, and events to promote enrollment.
  • Provide admissions counseling to prospective students, explaining program options, eligibility criteria, and deadlines.
  • Support the development and dissemination of admission materials and communications in both Urdu and English.
  • Assist in managing application databases and tracking progress to meet enrollment targets.
  • Prepare reports on admissions statistics and application trends as required by management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance student recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of applicant information in all processes.
  • Utilize basic MS Office functions to generate documents, spreadsheets, and presentations related to admission activities.
  • Continuously improve admission procedures based on feedback and policy updates to enhance applicant experience.
