Application Engineer (Electronics)

We are looking for a talented Application Engineer with a focus on Electronics to join a dynamic team supporting industrial boiler systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining electronic control systems that enhance automation, safety, and reliability. This role involves working extensively with control panels, PLC and SCADA integration, and instrumentation. Additionally, the engineer will prepare detailed electrical and control drawings using both 2D and 3D AutoCAD software, ensuring precise documentation and system compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic control systems tailored for boiler applications.
- Implement and rigorously test automation solutions, including PLC and SCADA integration.
- Create accurate electrical and control drawings using AutoCAD in both 2D and 3D formats.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to maintain optimal electronic system performance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to uphold system reliability and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough system validation and ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations.
- Offer technical support during installation and commissioning phases to guarantee smooth deployment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to design, testing, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Between 3 to 5 years of practical experience in industrial electronics or similar sectors.
- Internship or hands-on exposure in industrial electronics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, with experience on platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and their integration with control hardware is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Prior experience working on automation projects involving boilers or comparable industrial equipment.
- Strong competency in AutoCAD for producing detailed electrical and control drawings.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 100,000.
- Full-time position based in Metroville, Karachi, with responsibilities that include on-the-road assignments.
