Applications Engineer

The Application Engineer is an associate at Atlas ITRC primarily responsible for developing web/mobilebased applications in accordance with design, security, and performance standards. The delivered code is expected to be bug-free and meet all deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Understand and document business requirements.

• Estimate assigned tasks.

• Write reliable code and unit tests.

• Maintain systems by fixing any existing issues.

• Upgrade skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.

• Fresh / 2-3 years of related experience in the professional industry.

• Knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks such as Codeigniter/Laravel, React Native.

• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Create database schemas as per the requirements of business processes.

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, Integration of multiple data sources/databases.

• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is a plus.

• Good values and communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with PHP - CodeIgniter/Laravel.

• knowledge with JavaScript/HTML/CSS.

• Proficient understanding of React Native is a plus.
